Mallet Industries LLC (“Mallet Industries,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use malletindustries.com, contact us, or work with us, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the calls, emails, and text messages we send in connection with our real estate services.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
• Property information: addresses, timelines, price ranges, and the details you share about a property you own, want to buy, or want to invest in, including investor buy-box criteria.
• Communication records: the messages you send us and our record of calls, emails, and texts with you.
• Public records: information sourced from public records, including county records and title data, used to evaluate properties.
• Technical and consent data: when you submit a form we record the date and time, the page you were on, the version of the consent language shown, your IP address, and your browser (user agent), so that we can prove what you agreed to and protect the site from abuse.
• Analytics identifiers: cookie-based identifiers described in section 8.

2. How we use your information

• To contact you about properties, listings, and real estate services you asked about.
• To present selling options, buying plans, or investment opportunities that match what you told us.
• To respond to your inquiries and schedule appointments.
• To meet legal, licensing, and record-keeping obligations.
• To measure and improve how the website and our services work.

3. How we share your information

Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in consent, and contact details will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We will not share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information only:

• with eXp Realty, the sponsoring brokerage for Aaron Mallet, as required to provide licensed real estate services;
• only at your request, with buyers, sellers, investors, lenders, attorneys, or other parties needed to complete a transaction you have asked us to arrange;
• with service providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations — website hosting (Vercel), bot protection (Cloudflare), analytics (Google), and transactional email delivery, which may use your information only to provide their services to us, and our customer relationship system (Follow Up Boss, a brand of Zillow, Inc.), whose handling of your information is described in section 8 and differs depending on whether you also have your own relationship with Zillow. In every case, we share your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent only so these providers can deliver our service to you, never for marketing or promotional purposes;
• with Meta Platforms, Inc., the website-activity data described in section 8 (“Advertising measurement”), for measuring and delivering our own advertising. This never includes your name, email address, phone number, SMS opt-in consent, or the contents of your inquiry;
• when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

4. SMS Terms & Conditions (text messaging)

By checking the consent box on our contact form, or by replying to one of our messages, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Mallet Industries LLC regarding real estate services. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of any purchase or service; you can submit our form without it.

1. We use SMS to confirm appointments, send reminders, and notify clients of schedule updates or important changes.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at aaron@malletindustries.com.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

We keep a record of each consent you give (the date and time, the page, and the exact language shown). A later form submission without the consent box checked does not by itself withdraw an earlier consent; texting STOP always does.

5. Data retention

We keep your information as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. Consent and opt-out records are kept for at least four years after our last message to you so that we can demonstrate compliance; opt-out records are kept indefinitely.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you (subject to legal record-keeping requirements), and you may opt out of communications at any time by texting STOP, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us below.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies, analytics, and site protection

• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects anonymized usage data; it does not receive your name, email, phone number, or the contents of your inquiry.
• Attribution: when you arrive from a campaign link we store the campaign identifiers in a first-party cookie for 90 days so we know which marketing brought you here. It contains no personal information.
• Advertising measurement: when we run ads on Facebook or Instagram, this site includes the Meta Pixel. Like other sites that use Meta’s business tools, it sends Meta: your IP address; information about your browser, operating system and device; cookie and browser identifiers (including the click identifier Meta adds to links from its apps); the pages you view on our site; and whether you submitted an inquiry (a “Lead” event). It does not send your name, email address, phone number, or the contents of your inquiry, and we do not use Meta’s “advanced matching.” Meta uses this data to measure our ads and may show our ads to people who have visited our site; Meta’s handling of it, including for Meta’s own purposes, is described in the Meta Privacy Policy and Meta’s note on data from other sites. You can limit this through your Meta ad preferences (“Your activity off Meta technologies”) and your browser’s cookie controls. We do not sell your personal information.
• Bot protection: our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie to distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare’s use of that data is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
• Customer records and the Follow Up Boss tracker: two different things reach Follow Up Boss, our customer relationship system (a brand of Zillow, Inc.). First, when you submit a form, the details you typed, including your name, email address, phone number, and your inquiry, are sent to Follow Up Boss and stored in your record there. Second, its website tracker sets a cookie and records the pages you view on this site; the tracker itself sends no name or contact details, only page views tied to that cookie, and it can connect those views to your record if you arrive through a link in an email or text we sent you through Follow Up Boss, or when a form you submit is tied to the same cookie. Follow Up Boss processes this data to provide its service to us under its Privacy Notice Addendum: it passes it to its own service providers only as instructed, and its own use depends on whether you have an independent relationship with Zillow. If Follow Up Boss knows you only through us (an “Agent-Only Customer” in its terms), it does not use your data for its other products, for marketing, or for sharing with Zillow affiliates. If you also have your own relationship with Zillow (a “Mutual Customer,” for example someone who has created a Zillow account), Zillow’s Privacy Notice also applies to your data, and Zillow may use it for its own products and marketing. Follow Up Boss states that it does not sell this data, with one exception it discloses: third-party tracking technologies placed on its own services, which may count as a “sale” under some state laws.
• You can control cookies in your browser settings; the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and Meta’s ad preferences are also available.

9. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites (for example, listing portals or review sites). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
